In an interview with the H3 Podcast Poarch explained to the interviewers that her maternal grandmother had was a slum dweller to when she was 3 years old. Kenneth Taylor, a married American couple, adopted her. The Poarchs explained that she was a chore-handler on the family farm over the ten years she lived there. There are two adopted siblings and an older brother Bryner. Her family moved to the United States in Texas when she was thirteen, with the exception of older two sisters who were at home in the Phillipines. Later, Poarch served as an United States Navy officer and was stationed for a few time in Japan. Bella said that her father had been abusive to her and her brother, and she did not have any friends at schools. Her career started in April 2020 when she began posting regular updates on TikTok. The site gained the limelight after numerous lip-sync clips, including her most popular video featuring her lip-syncing Soph Aspin posted to Millie B. In the wake of her TikTok success she launched a YouTube channel and Twitter page in the months after she joined TikTok. Poarch was also famous for her alpaca things doll Paca. In 2020, Poarch introduced an exclusive clothing line RIPNDIP x Paca.
